Soon should be the owner of a Golf Gl (fingers crossed i get it) and was wonderin if anyone knew where i can get stats on the car and the engine performance? Cheers :smiley:

i take it it is a 1.8, but you would need to be more specific i.e. year, probably 90 bhp

I havent payed for it yet havin it of my grandad hes had it from new with only 40k on and always garaged. Hes a bit of a speed holic for an old man n sed it got to 120 once on so it aint slow n dont feel slow. Am i right that these are 16v because someone sed to me that it maybe 8v like some of the gtis? cheers

think they are 8v,  hence low down torque, don't quote me though
