iv never changed a wheel i a car with an air bag my cars have always been old school is it easy?? i like the wheel i might get one all in black tho! does look nice
-
Yeah, Im thinking of getting a new wheel, is it easy to change? I wouldnt want the airbag blowing my face off or summat!
-
Removing the steering wheel with an airbag is a doddle just as long as you make sure you've disconnected the battery before attempting it making sure to leave it untouched for at least 15 mins or just to make sure all power has discharged from the circuits so not to get a face full of airbag. Then only reattaching the battery once re-installation is totally complete

well i just followed the guide on here.
disconnected the battery for an hour
undid the old wheels allan (5mm) bolts. that lets the airbag come out)
some other wires to disconnect.
a big 24mm bolt to come out and then just reattaching the other one (i can help more if needed lol)
but im not mechanicly sound at all and managed it!
oh and with the airbag light... its not on now even without there being an airbag.. who knows why but oh well :)
