Yes they would fit but you will have to roll the arches which isnt too hard, check out Lemski's ride out called Project Neg, he has just done his front one as he wants to take his car so low , i am sure he will give you helpful hints about what he did? You need some adaptors to make the wheels fit but the end result will make the car look fat as fuc* mate .

D90s fit mate. Easy if you roll and pull arches. Its all about the stance.

that is the great thing about this site, there are many people on here you know how to use photoshop, so all you need to do is post a pic of the car and a pic of the wheels and ask someone to do it, there is a section on the general part that people post this side of thing and let the geeks do there magic

If you really need them selling quickly then wack them on ebay and set a reserve on them?

You need to ask the seller what the offset is. As they are 9's i'd suspect they are off a wide bodied porsche in which case they'll be around et25. Subtract the thickness of the spacers and you'll be et10 at best. With a 9 inch wheel you'll need some hefty arch mods.

If its any help i was running 9 x 17's on my golf. Et 53 with 20mm adapters. The inner edge of the wheel was catching on the strut so needed 3mm spacers.

Rolling my arches wouldn't have been close to enough work.

Bashickly if they are high offset (around 50ish) you should be fine but may need to space them out slightly. If they are shallow offset you're screwed.

The offset should be cast into the wheel near the valve.

The offset on my 8's is 52.3 i believe, i think the wider the wheel the higher the offset? in the Old skool porsche category mate!
I know that Silver Roses, which are virtually D90's are ET60 in 9J ;)

I'm wondering what price those D90's went for...?

they dont look like 9j, at least 2 of them rims are 6j by looking at the pics and id say 8j rears (at the most)and the refurb looks wack, powdercoat my ass, the faces have just been sprayed ina nasty pink..

if they were 9j the price was good, but factor in the price of a refurb in a decent colour and a good job will be circa £250 + and also same for adapters, then theirs the rubber....

got about 1k in my rims... and i have a spare too, mine are the 8j all round

See d90s for me.
Failing that teledials or banded steallies.
3 fav wheel choices.

My 17 inch twists cost 140 quid with tyres, which i sold to fund more suitable sized ones.

Current boxster wheels cost £54 quid.

With the 8j ET52 , if you were rolling/pulling the archs 60mm lowered if that maybe 50mm can the wheel actually go up in the arch without hitting ,  with 195/40 streched

I've got some for mine and i dont intend to be going slow and going for a show look i want them to be driveable ? roughly put them in space and they touch on the suspension with 10mm stub axle spacers im sure another 10mm will cure that ,

Has anyone reported bad handling with say 8j's ? ive been told by two people saying mk2s handle bad on D90's
