Title: Suspected rear caliper stuck on, advice please;)

Hi there

Took the mk2 out for the first time in about 6 weeks and noticed it seemed to be being held back, so I stopped to check for flat tyre... But no flat tyre :sad:
I felt the bbs alloy and it was red hot on the rear passenger side, anyone with me on this thinking it is just the caliper stuck on??? :undecided:

Jack it up, does it move freely?

most likely thing yes. look at the cable, if its all floppy then the caliper is stuck, if the cable is tight to the handbrake lever on the caliper then its the cable that has frozen
