anyone know how to clean the waxoil off inside an engine bay?
was told that white spirit wil do,BUT IT DOESNT!!! :rolleyes:
TRYING TO CLEAN UP MY BAY BUT SICK OF THAT LOOK OF PROTECTION :sick:

Ive been doing the mk2's bay, ive been using one of those halfrauds steam cleanes...
works a treat

de-waxing solution and a steam cleaner, you need a high pressure steam cleaner, we used to de-wax toyota vans with our kew machine and run de-wax solution through it and it still took ages. if its just a few bits in your engine bay it wouldnt take long with what ive listed.

use a hot air gun and as it melts wipe it of with a clean rag .
