Title: Badge Markings
Post by: Jayman79 on 28 December 2010, 21:00
Yo Folks,

Just wondering if different cars have different markings.  My GT TDI came marked up as a GTI and parallel to that below it was TDI.  The GTI in silver and the TD in red and the I in silver although I know all 150 models marked up as GT TDI all silver!  Mine is obviously been mdified to tast but anyone know what the markings mean?  I've seen GTI where the I is red, the same but the I is silver etc etc

Thanks in advance for your help :-)

I know they became lazy but come on!!!   My mate got a 2.0 dare I say GTI, his says GTI with a red I, I had one and only diff was his had climate control yet mine was marked 2.0 GTI.  Never seen one like mine tho marked up as GTI and below TDI and a polish guy tried to tell me it was a rip off as VW never made a GTI diesel as when i bought it i took off the TDI but I put it back on so peeps notice the black smoke pouring out of the back when i floor it is diesel :-)
