Title: Badly scuffed seat bolster
Post by: The Danno on 27 December 2010, 15:06
Ouch! My new jacket has a vicious zip on it. It has badly scuffed the leather side bolster. Any ideas, or good product recommendations that might remove or hide them a bit. Also it has a very small(1mm) tear, so will need some good glue too.

Any help advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Yeah thanks for that   It's just a parker style jacket, but the zipped side pocket was open and I had to try and squeeze in and out of the car as some idiot had parked really close to me. Bloody 3 doors!!!

Put a zip on the tear.

Seriously, follow Snoops advice. It can be fixed but don't wear the jacket.

In order to protect my beautiful cloth seats, I wear high quality clothing which is soft to the touch and expensive to the eye and the purse.

It is so annoying for this to happen and I do hope you get it sorted.

I carry wide cellotape in case my passangers wear rough clothing and tape the part of the seat which they might damage. :nerd:

No. It is not a joke.

One of my female passengers insisted on stuffing her bejewelled vulgar designer bag between her fat bottom and the door. She well and truly stuffed this obscene object in that small space.  She scratched the trim lightly (fixed now) and the bloody bag got caught in the fabric. She panicked as she could not retrieve that vile object when she descended. I had to rush to the other side and very gently prised the £1800 bag sh!t so as not to damage the seat fabric.

Never offered her a lift since even when it snowed. B!tch!

Oh, what got me was that she had the bloody cheek to say when we parted, 'My bag is worth so much more than your seats. If you had leather this would not have happened. This is what happens when you buy a cheap car'. Her exact words.

I could have maimed her with great pleasure, but this would have improved her looks.

An acquaintance of the family. Extremely wealthy, spoilt, clueless, fat, ugly inside and outside, should I go on?
Her chauffeur was off for that day and as it was late, I offered to drop her home. Initially, she wished to sit at the back as she is not used to sit next to a driver! There was not room enough for her at the back, so she sat in the front next to me. Vile cow.
