I was thinking we could make the profiles a bit like a facebook/bebo sort of layout so you can:
- Post comments on each others page about there cars etc...
- You could have like a tagline/status of what you've been upto with your golf - as not everyone has dub project threads
- you could have like what car you drive and its spec, upgrades you've made etc...
- you could have a for sale section of what each member has for sale if at all
- although were all friends on here i suppose you could have a friend section aswell
- You could upload pics and have a profile pics etc...
I don't know really just a thought, I know most of or all of these features are available on the forum anyway but could be alright
Could be a new forum addition for the new year, I don't know
What do peolpe think
Regards, Les.

Plus there is already a section on here to post pics of your car in each mark group, there's a section to post pics of yourself, there's a section to post what you have done to your car today and there's a very good for sale section. It's all already here if you take a look around.
-
yeah i know, fair enough - just thought i'de throw in the idea anyways  (I actually forgot i joined the facebook group)

a lot of those requests would be covered by a move to different forum software, invision for example, as used by e38. it's something i have been thinking about, expanding the social angle etc, just takes a bit of doing!
-
o'right sweet, is it definate?
To cut it short, was just thinking we could have our profile pages with a layout style such as bebo/facebook with some pf the relevant features they have.
Cheers, Les.

All depends what is available with the forum software, I am not in a position to be able to write my own
Definite, is your polo shirt in the post today
-
yeah, sorry i messed you about with that, I bought a size too big to give it some le-way to shrink to the right size after my mum washes it but it seems you are much more generous with material than I expected
Thanks, all the best, Les.

I used to like the old Gallery! That was great!

tbh this is the most usable forum I know... its not cluttered and is easy to post replies etc
I have tried lots of other forums, edition, DW, caddy2k etc and I always give up or don't post much as they are so difficult to navigate
