Post by: gti3 terry on 26 December 2010, 13:59
i somehow seemed to put my mk3 gti drivers side frnt wheel into a kerb at a slight pace and have bent a tie rod ...oooooooopppppss ... just wondering if any1 knows if it can be changed without having to take the whole rack out ?   not a prob if the rack has to come out but just thinking of a timesaver

Yeah, you can replace them easily enough without removing the rack.
