can be done mate, im running 10j 19's on the rears with 20mm adaptors and there poke!!!! 225 35 19 tyres on the back with stretch!!!, rears will go on ok just watch the arch lips, im on 9j at the front and i struggle turning lol
-
Awesome wheels. but your going to need 3k + just for the wheels :lipsrsealed:
-
when i say they will go on you'll need to work out pcd, et etc
-
you would tugged every 5 mins for them...
Although they do look awesome
-
with tyres stretched like that isnt it dangerous??? wudnt the bead go????? looks the dogs danglers but is it drivable???
-
Nah man, running stretch is fine

Was going to say that the wheels will be worth more than the car , But thay are well nice
-
LOL yeah I no....was looking at reps but widest I can find is 9j....I really want this look for mine tho
-
I bet you will wince when you kerb them aswell
-
Also you couldn't run them without being seriously low/cambered. So another £1000+ for air!

dont need air but you must run low to get that stance, im -1 degree camber on rears to tuck up wheels, stretch tyres are fine to run, never gone thro mot tho with em on!!!
-
would 9j with stretch get under the arches ? what do u do about the mot then mate ?
-
you need to be clever with spacers/adaptors, im running x5 rims and there 45 and 48 offset, 20mm adaptors and camber, and that gives me the stance i need,

do you actually drive it around like that ? does it scrub at all ? looks really nice mate
-
It's not his ;)
-
its not mine but i have the same set up and looks identical but black and 3 door, thats on air and fully dumped, im about 5 mm higher, had my arches rolled, bit of grinding inside arches, no inner arch linners, really need 215 35 on the rears but it took an hour to get the rears on! and the inner lip on the rims will need sanding down abit to fit tyre on!!!! cant go full lock, no more than 2 people in the car, forget speed bumps ha ha lol !!!
-
Pics to prove your only 5mm higher please.
-
as soon as its back from paint shop i'll chuck some up!
-
sweet hahaha all be it impractical  but who cares
-
I love that stance!!! So so nice I wish I could have 2 cars just so I could do that to one of them!
-
only gripe i can see is that the rear wheel isnt centred in the arch, but surprising how good x5 rims actually look!!!
there was a mk4 in pvw with nissan patroller 4 spokes that looked lovely!

Something different :afro:
-
stance does look great but like whats been said its by no mean livable..

Yep spot on, scene points is one thing but still better to have a car you can live with and drive on a day to day basis.
-
It's on air. And this blue mk4 does get used daily!

The more you lower them the further forward the rear wheels sit

Very nice !

sure there is a thread on this on ukmkivs.....there is these spacer things you can buy to push the wheel back a bit
-
you got it
