Title: R32 steering wheel

Has anyone in here had a 4 spoke steering wheel for the mk4 golf replaced with the 3 spoke eg the R32 one
I want to buy the R32 one but because i have the 4 spoke standard one they told me i need a 3 star airbag?
anyone had this job done before :huh:

I've not heard of this being done.  They normally list them as replacements for the three spoke only due to the airbag (the new wheel obviously comes with a blank centre for the original airbag)
