Title: Problem with revs/power

Hi was out in the car tonight noticed the revs fluctuating between 500&1000 RPM whilst idle and lights were diming slightly at this point ! :huh:

Has been cutting out on a cold start, New battery fitted.

Any ideas what the cause is ? is this due to cold conditions?

MK4 golf gti t 1999 - 150 bhp.

Try a throttle body clean - the rough idle will cause the alternator power to fluctuate  :smiley:
