Title: Sunroof wont close?
Post by: gtiblack on 21 December 2010, 18:44
Was driving along yesterday and the sunroof opened on its own - strange it thought and it closed back down when i turned it back.

However this afternoon while the car was parked the sunroof opened again and now it wont close  ......  not too good when the weather is so bad,

Could it just be a fuse or something more serious?
Apprecaite any info..

thanks

There is a way to manually close the sunroof and involves removing a bit of trim by the sunroof control dial. Sorry bet I don't have exact details but check in your handbook.

Yes, that part with the grill by the sunglasses holder pops down and theres an allen wrench socket in there for you to crank it closed. I forget what part of the manule its in.

Hope it helps and good luck. Report back if you can.

Have you tried pressing and holding the lock button on the remote to see if it will "comfort close"?
