Title: Power steering problem
Post by: paul69 on 20 December 2010, 17:47
Recently the power steering in my 8v  doesn't kick until I have been driving for a little while. I can't be sure, but I can only remember this happening since the weather has got colder. Is this normal? Only I don't remember this happening with my previous 8v. I will change the fluid as soon as I get a chance, would this make a difference?

P.S. I think it is an aftermarket power steering if this makes any difference.

I think I was told when I bought it but not sure. I will check that when I get a chance. If the belt was a bit loose, would that improve when warmed up?
