Title: front windscreen wipers

one of my wiper arms has snapped off and the drivers side wiper is not doing a full wipe. the wiper is only wipeing a few inches up. the wiper arm is actually dropping near to the scuttle on rest.

iirc i need to take off the black plastic panel and there is a nut that holds the wiper arm on.

to fix the drivers side do i need to adjust the wiper from under the scuttle?

Mine did something similar, turns out one of my wipers did the same because the bolt wasn't tight enough so it popped off the splines somehow.

I just took em both off, lined em up again and tightened them up and it is fine now.

check the wiper arms are the right type for the car. post-90 the hole size was increased, so if tyou fit late wipers to an early car they wont bite properly, and you may end up shearing off the thread on the end of the wiper spline trying to get them to grip
