Title: Mileometer stopped working?

My speedo still works but it has stopped counting miles (both the total mileage and the trip mileage).  Is this fixable or do I need a new speedo?  1990 MkII

you could try taking it apart and having a look, but they make them so you can't fiddle with the mileage...

minwe did the same moths ago,
must get it fixed as im doin a lot of miels but it doesent add them on :evil:

and your point?

mine stops occasionally - like today but i really am not that bothered. as long as the speedo works thats all i care about.
