Title: Car Delivered
Post by: javsta on 17 December 2010, 09:59
Thanks all for your help in the previous thread on what I should be looking for when taking delivery.

Firslty the chap came and delivered the car @6.30 am too dark to check anything at that time for body work and under the bonnet too
secondly no owners manual
thirdly he was due to come at work address and he dint have a clue about it lol

bit of a suprise walking out door on way to work half asleep and theres a lump of shiny metal stopping you from walking out drive :)

will be inspecting it thoroughly once its been cleaned got abit of bird poo and motorway dirt.

thanks again all

It's posts like that, and similar posts, which make me wonder are GTD drivers actually friendlier people?

Back to the forum

It's just that we are a little more attentive..... not so wrapped up in our own little..... welcoming kind of people..... helpful kind of thing rather than..... oh god he hasn't got a GTI must be the work of the devil if it doesn't run on petrol

Why so aggressive, sister? Chill out babybooks. Get Helen to wipe your furrowed brow. Ram the Disco through the snow and stop beating me honey- child.

Never said anything 'really' negative about sootsuckers. My friend Steve has a beautiful WHITE GTD.

I genuinely don't know what 'he' bought and unless 'he' clearly states this in a latest post, signature or picture, none of us will be the wiser, apart from you of course.

I can't be the mind reader you expect me to be.

Now take a chill pill and be nice to me. I have done you no harm and I am genuinely shocked by your reaction.

Are you drunk? (still drunk?) or have you just had a catastrophic SOHF???

As per the norm this threads way off topic, my bad.

Can we have some pics?

Thanks all

no snow tyers for me may consider the socks

I prefer the candy white as opposed to th frozen white which found on the fords and vauxhall. the creamy white is nice

I didnt know there was a new tdi badge lol

I think some foggies would look good not too sure if I wana part with my cash yet
