Title: floorpan/jacking point?

hello
just a quick question if i remove carpet from ft nearside passenger footwell , will  i see my ft jacking point(no jokes i know its underneath) i mean the floor or is it double skined i need to weld that jacking point up for the mot maybe strengthen it with a plate just dont want to do it from under the car if possible ,i have a mig so weldings not the issue .thanks max

No, I dont think you'll gain access from above, the jacking point is part of the chassis sub structure that welds to the floor, effectivly making it double skinned.

thanks mate thats what i thought just needed it confirmed b4 i started stripping/preparing it ready to be welded !! max

Had the same on mine, was a hole in the floor because of a leaking bonnet release cable grommet.
Worth checking to stop it soaking your floor again.
