High guys i have been trying to do some research on these Liquid diognostics kits i cant seem to find one that says it works with 1.8t agu any no where i can get one cheapish. Thanks
-
They work on stOne age agu's but don't have as many read-outs
-
Thanks for the reply any idea what they dont read on them?
-
To be honest, their sh!te on AGU's! I sold mine the other week. They read torque and bhp badly and mass air flow which is accurate-ish if you divide the figure by 0.8 to give you the BHP figure They do read faults but only after you disconnect something first! Also they rob you of heating which IMO is the best reason not to get one.

and they aint cheap bud....Cheapest ive seen one is £170... :embarassed: :embarassed:
-
Thats sh!t. is there anything else i can get to find out bhp and 0-60 times apart from dyno.
-
a stop watch, calculator and a weigh bridge..

I sold mine for £130. Do a rolling road. The 0-60 on the liquid guage is crap as it is just a stopwatch with a countdown before I think. Only tried it once an it was a fail! The boost guage I put in to replace it rocks the casbah!

As what VWFiend said mate, Its not great on a AGU. i sent mine back to Jim at Liquid to have the agu upgrade put on but its still lacking a ot of things. Its a nice toy for some of the thiugs that do work on there but unforchernetly its wasted on out older Mk4. I have put mine into my mates Anny and then it come alive and is worth every bit of money. Has every thing you want then.
From experiance save you money mate. Get some gadges that do boost, oil temp etc, or if you have a lap top invest it in a proper vertion of Vag-com :).

as said above your £200 can be spent better elsewhere.
