Title: vagcom settings
Post by: andc1 on 13 December 2010, 15:30
hi all, just been down to see darren and g werks and had all my settings done for auto window closure, anti hijack, bleep on the alarm when closing but we found issues that we are both stumped on!

1. when i lock the car, alarm bleeps and lights flash, unlock and nothing happens, just unlocks, its suppose to bleep and flash!!!!!
2. when i hit 12 mph both doors are suppose to lock, but pass locks but then unlocks again, if i keep the pass door locked and drivers door unlocked and drive off the doors lock and stay locked!!!!! both doors unlock when i take the key out which is correct, both doors lock and unlock ok from fob

am i correct in thinking module?

it was all scanned thro with the latest vagcom software so i no thats all good, its all been switched on etc etc

any advise would be great! cheers

nope nothing come up

even on the central electronics module?  Module 46?  Was the car scanned AFTER the problems occurred?

Either way you're looking at a new door module going by the description you've given

no idea on that one, the car has never locked on pass side if you hit the lock button on drivers door panel, just keeps unlocking, locks fine tho from fob, module the one in drivers door yea?

If the passenger side won't lock properly then its that module you need to replace

you can resolder the joints if you feel brave, just be warned the insides of the module can pop out when you remove the cover lol
