Title: Help needed to convert interior switches to led on mk3

Has anyone converted their switches from the dated White and green lamps to led's? I want to upgrade my mk3 to look like my mk5 did. LEDs are cheap as chips and I will diy it, but I have searched through previous posts and I can't find any guides. Any help on this would be very appreciated. Cheers!

i guess the principal is the same as dials
