Title: locking problems

hi everyone,
well ive had my golf for about a month now, (2000 mk4 1.8t)
my problem is that, i now cant lock it using the key fob, or the key in the doors. it will unlock with the key fob and key though. also the drivers side curtosey door light stays on when the doors shut. ive had a mate on it with vag com and he couldnt seem to find anything with it.
any help would be much apprecated thanks, chris.

but the second looks promising so ill have to give that a go and hopefully it works!  :wink:
