Title: cold rear end!!!

Can anyone help me?
When my mk4 golf 1.8t is cold (after a frost etc) my boot will not open and the rear wiper won't work.
What's going on? :undecided:

is any water or damp getting in? it mite be freezing up.

99% certain your rear washer hose has come off/split/leaked onto the motors and freezes them up in a frost. Unclip the rear hatch panel and have a look.

Had a look today and the water pipe going into the pump had come away slightly causing the leek. :undecided:
This is why i ask you guys and not the main dealers.  Thankyou very much :smiley:
