Hi.. Any recommendations on a decent in car smell that does,nt end up smelling like a high street toilet?.I bought one off the asda shelf that said "New Car Smell" but it ended up smelling like Domestos!.

I know what u mean sugar.Forest pine!!!! sheeesh..Anyway the 1st service is in 1400 miles and they always stick a new car
smelly in.prob is on the old golf I left it on the rear console stuff/coin box and it melted it!! :angry:

Ive smelt the "new car sent" its bloody horrible, not like a new car would smell at all,
i stand in halfords trying to smell most of them threw the plastic, but that never works. :grin: heh

in my golf ive got 2 trees (came with it)
i will find out the name, but there yellow trees and actually smell quite nice i reckon :smiley:

I use them little round wooden fellas (can't remember the name) but there's one on the interior mirror in my sig :wink:, the orange one is really good but doesn't seem to last too long I'm afraid.? :smiley:

I've got one of those Airwick flowery things from Sainsburys that clip onto the airvents and give off the smell when the blowers are on for best effect.
The Disney Tigger beanie from Halfords smell didn't last long and cost a fiver.

I use these jelly-like ones..couple of pound n they aren too smelly so dont give u that spaced-out headache wot alot of these smellies do :grin: Mines an ickle dolphin but sure they do more "manly" ones for u boys! :wink:
not too fussed about them wooden ones Gib..dont last long at all!

Come on, Magic Trees New Car Scent ain't that bad. Beats sniffing glue? :evil:
The only other good one that presides in my GTi is the graphite effect Poppy-Coral. Expensive, but goooooood. Try it, you might like it? :laugh:

Try the neutradol ones, they dont make your car smell, but they take all smells away! including rotting/mouldy interior :huh:

The tree shaped ones that smell like vanilla are my personal favourite. Called "Vanillaroma". :wink:
