Title: misfire development

ok, my tiny every now and then miss fire has shown its face big time. its doing it right through the rev range on anything other than a gentle throttle.also when we set off in the car the revs were goin up and down when it is normally dead steady when ticking over. any more thoughts as my code reader aint gonna be here till end of week

AGU? MAF or ignition amp  :wink:

Just a guess need to scan it first.

yeah is an agu, would both of these faults show up on scan tool???

Maybe, The Amp will show as a missfire (usually cylinder 3) The MAF wont always give a code.  :smiley:

Not saying you're wrong mate as mine wasn't strictly knackered, it was overheating due to the transfer paste breaking down

I see bud yeah i guess it depends on the fault with the amp   :smiley:
