Title: S3 strut braces
Post by: Dave_IOW on 09 December 2010, 21:39
Anyone know if these part numbers are still correct for lower brace?

Quote
part numbers for leon are exactly the same as for the mk4 golf (prices in brackets are from a stealer)

S3 lower brace  8N0 199 403 B (£12+vat)
riv/cap nut       N90 810 601 (80p+vat) x 2
Screw/bolt       N10 417 601 (53p+vat) x2
washers           N90 477 301 (42p+vat) x2

Any one know part numbers for top one, and maybe rear one if they did one?

My trolley jack has sprung a leak somehow however it was one from Lidl  :lipsrsealed:

Normally jack it up then slide ramps under, too low to drive onto them

And finally decent ratchet, cant remember the amount of cheapo ones ive gone through.. finally time to get a decent one, good times lol (cant believe ive put it off this long   )

Always make things work with what ive got, but as i want f**k all else this yeah, why not ask for tools

best jack ive owned and still own is the clarke racing one from machinemart its the tits and the handle is long but comes in 2 pieces for storage..

Best ratchet set is obviously snap-on ( which i own   ) but i also have a Halfords advanced set in my boot at all times and i bloody love em they are great and very strong and also you can get ratchet repair kits if you fook up the ratchet..
