Title: random lights

Hi, i own mk1 gti and have just fitted some clear lights but have found out that when you brake with the side lights on that the right indicator lights up (just a little mind) and when you use the reverse lights and brake it does the same! also my indicators some times work fine but other times the green light on the dash flashes alot faster than it should! what is going on? rob

Check the connection to the right hand light cluster, sounds like a bad connection (earth?). Check the indicator bulb is making a good contact.

definetly sounds like a dodgey wire somewhere. can't say where without having a look and checking connections.

Sounds like a bad earth to me. Happens all the time on the bloody mini.
