Title: THICKO ALERT, THICKO ALERT - LOWERING QUESTION

When i get my 18s and want to lower my car whats the difference in just buying some lowering springs for £50 to go on to my shocks? or but these coilover shock packs for about £200.

whats the best option really?

come on slag me i dont care i just want answers.............

If fitting lowering springs it is a wise move to replace the shocks aswell.  :smiley:

Springs = fixed drop in height

Coilovers = adjustable ride height

Coilovers tend to give a much firmer / harsher ride

Depends what state your shocks are in... Imo if you're going to replace the springs then you may aswell replace the shocks. Either buy a set of coilovers if you wana go low or what i did and get a spring and shock package
