Hi all, i've had a search about but couldn't find any topics on this. Last night my missus (typical), folded my passenger seat forward in my 2 door GTI, as i went to recline the seat back to it's original place, the seat went to the sitting position but would not clamp down to the floor again properly, after about 15 minutes of fiddling around with the mechanism and not really knowing what i had done it slipped back in to it's fixed position!
Has anyone ever had this problem before? Or know what could be wrong with the seat? I think an e-clip is missing from a little bronze mechanism arm that supports one of the springs but can't be sure, as i'm new to all this VW malark :)
Any help is much appreciated!
