Title: 2003> mk4 suspension?
Post by: mikemk4gti on 07 December 2010, 21:39
Hi, I've got a 2003 mk4 1.8t gti now, with the auq 180 engine 6 speed. Bigger brakes etc same as tha anni. so the question is, are the springs the same as the anni's (10mm lower) or just the normal from a gti?? Anyone know? I'm thinking if lowering so a 35mm may only be 25mm if there Anni spec.

Don't know if this will help. Go through your service book and take all the codes on the sticker and enter them into this site, should tell you what they mean and what suspension is fitted

Also my old bora was a 180bhp model with 6 speed box and bigger brakes and came with sports suspension as does my current v5 but neither was particularly low.

never thought of that!
Well the code is L19 = Suspension range 19 installation control only, no requirement forecast

and my anni was L28 = Suspension range 28 installation control only, no requirement forecast

think this is the right bit, so there not the same.
