Title: Help With Bird sh!t Troubles =]

Hi all, my new Black GTI has got a small patch on the roof where the previous owner couldn't be arsed to clean some bird sh!te off, it's really noticeable to me being on a black car and im not sure if it's too far gone! What can i do to try and sort this out? Thought i'd ask here before attacking it with anything, was thinking maybe rub down with 2500, cutting compound, glazing compound?? Please let me know if you have a sure fire of fixing =]

No mate Mk4 lol =]
