get genuine TT short shifter for £25.. or a neuspeed one for £160.. the ebays ones are crap i would assume..
-
What's the difference between the TT and the neuspeed to justify that price difference...... All neuspeed gear is massively expensive, their catalogue is like a phonebook!!!
-
TT doesnt really reduce the throw by much just makes it more direct i believe.. and the neuspeed one reduces throw by about 45% and is adjustable i believe.. it is a good piece of kit from all accounts..
-
Do you have the neuspeed item? That's an awful lot of money IMO.... Also are the ARB's by them any good???
-
I dont but there is a few with them on here.. As stated they stuff is high priced but it seems good quality stuff ive never heard someone buy something from them and it break..
-
Probably can't afford to run their car anymore after fitting their gear  I'm not normally tight with car parts at all but that seems a lot even for me. Plus golfs are worth less and less every day so it's a false economy.
-
modding cars has always been a false economy bud you always lose more than you put in...
-
Mostly but I've NEVER lost on a car except the one before last and outta 20+ that isn't bad. I do know what you mean though...... I hate losing, just gotta find a chav now........

i have already bought the one from ebay, and its exactly the same as the B&M one.
i have used this seller on ebay many times with previous cars and have never had a problem with the quality. most of my track ready mx5 parts came from them.
its just a case of iv never fitted a short shift lever to a front wheel drive car, they have always been rear wheel which is much easier.
