Just wondering if there was an induction kit for the kjet mk 2 16v and there was if anyone had fitted one and if it had made any difference
cheers
-
yes there is one from PiperX. i dont know anybody who has one. as all they'll do is suck hot air from in round the engine bay which aint good. will probably make a lot of noise though!!
just get a panel filter and remove the the wing section from the base of you airbox. it just clips out and will give the car a far more throaty note

don't do the induction kit hot air no good for performance.
Good panel filter and remove the snorkel
Induction kit good if you want more noise than power.
-
Induction kits are fine, if they are fitted in the wing at the front of the car. They will be crap however if fitted at the rear of the engine. So depends on model.
But saying that, a panel filter and a drilled box will have the same effect.

panel filter? snorkel? Sorry not sure

Take your airbox out and have a look, you will see what people are talking about.

your vacuum hose is probably damaged or unplugged. i think its the one that goes in the back of your clocks from your manifold. shouldn't drop by that much just removing the trumet thing.
