Title: Pretty Dangerous

Ok my car is a 1.4 mk4 Y reg since the cold has hit if I start it and drive away straight away when i come to stop at a junction or slow down more than 10mph below what I was doing my car cut's out anyone got any ideas what this could be?

Also when in reverse if you try to just roll using the clutch it stalls any ideas what this could be?

Try cleaning the throttle body (tips in the maintenance section) as the 1.4 seems to suffer this more than any other mk4 engine. If you have no joy with that then it's time to get some diagnostics done.
