As im a total newbie to golfs i want to try and tidy my first one up abit. iv already done a few bits but the little things need doing which i need some clarification on.
Firstly, and i know it might sound stupid, i need to replace the reverse bulb/bulbs. has the golf got two reverse bulbs or one?
And likewise has the golf got two or one rear fog light?
Secondly on opening the drivers door neither the interior lights or door marker light turn on. cant quite see where the switch is that activates them on any of the seal.
Could someone point me in the right direction please. and last but not least which bulbs do the lights in above the b pillar take.
thanks

1 http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=87373.0 Two reverse bulbs
2 The mk4 has only ONE fog light that works - although all the part are there for two

i had a feeling it would be two, means i got to check out the switch then, had the same problem with the hyundai coupe i had.
dont think i can be bothered with doing a twin rear fog set up, though might if i get all the other bugs sorted.
as for the pin for activating the interior lights and door marker im still non the wiser.

There is no pin. The interior lights are controlled by a "Door module" which is INSIDE the door.
They are a common failure the solder joints go - read the link
