Guys
Its on the road and its bangin! Coming from the A4 bad boy, this feels much sturdey'er and firmer on the road! Not as pokey as the v6 monster but this is mor whipable and agile in the bends, my lil boy was pissed off that i switched to the golf, but when opened it up he was happy as a pig in sh!t! Im buzzing right now as the golf eat the snow better than i could imagine, i now think i'll run this for a few months then its the 1.8t or maybe the v5? Wat do the fans think?

Yep non turbo.

16v? I only saw 1.8t's people want doe for then tho, i got mine for £1250 on a v plate, looks like its had a shunt at the back, but buy from a salvage yard and expect no less
-
the 1.8's both turbo and non turbo are 20v mate. the n/a makes 125bhp and the turbo makes 150bhp. Im quite new to golfs and cars in general but there are alot of people on this site that can help further

Nope 20v, 125bhp or 150 / 180 bhp Turbo

Ahhh my 2.0 is only a 115 bhp, but its got an induction kit on it so i dunno how much that would add, what would be the next best mod to get the BHP up? Is it only TDI's you can get remapped?
-
You can get basically anything mapped but alot of people would say its not worth it for the gains....i dont know what the gain is on a 2.0 so wouldnt like to say. Exhaust is always a good way to go. If you have the cash to spend mate your better asking the people at R-Tech. Ive not used them but have seen some high recommendations on this site.
All im doing with mine is alloys and exhaust and airfilter then just keeping her clean and tidy to sell on
