Title: Lumbar Support Wheel/Handle Loose
Post by: kalpsn2000 on 03 December 2010, 10:12
Hi

New to this forum. Got some great info here

I will be picking up my GTI next week. When I went to see it last week, I did notice the lumbar support wheel/handle was loose on the driver’s seat (3 door). It still worked but would come off easily.

I will see how bad it is when I get the car but thought I would search online for a new one but cant find one anywhere.

Anyone know where I can get a new one? How much are these at the dealers?

This isnt major but will really bug me. So any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks
Kalps

I guess no one here has had a problem with this?

Not had the problem but if the car is already like it get them to repair it before you pick the car up, my car had a couple of niggly faults when I looked at it and I told them to get them sorted if they wanted a sale.

Its a private seller so not going to bother asking him to sort it out, especially as i'm collecting it tomorrow. I would have if it was a garage.

Will check with the stealers to see how much the part is. Otherwise just have to find a DIY solution.
