hey guys,, finally found out what turbo is on my car and its the k03s..

just want to have a insight of how much my car will gain after a remap. obviously if the engine is tip top condition.

the car is a aum, and alread has the following mods.

straight through exhaust system
induction kit.

and before a remap it will have a front mount intercooler.

yer i just wanted to get an estimated figure..

where do you recommend for a remap,, i know everyone recomends R-TECH, but its a bit too far for me as im from south wales..

was thinking of getting a off the self map from longlife..
but im about skeptic about having off the self map,, has it just get down loaded to my ecu without mapping to through the rev range..

Hi mate, i'm from south wales too and it's well worth the drive.Mines an aum with 141k on the clock with r tech remap, pipercross panel filter and forge 007p and it made 201 bhp on the day.Well worth the drive or they can come to you. I paid for them to come to me with my agu, but i had a problem with my car at the time so i travelled to them. I paid £40 on time for them to come to me when they did my first 1.8t

ok mate, think you have convinced me. I shall give them a ring after christmas, when i fit my front mount intercooler...

Forged mate, but i only got the intercooler at the moment as i bought it off a mate  who never fitted it. So im gonna buy some piping before i fit it..

but i cant fit it yet because i aint gt any piping lol.

i'm waiting for a mate of mine, he'll be selling some piping off his golf next month

yes i could do, but i'll be paying much less off my mate, and he has some forge piping. because he's putting his car back to standard.
