if you can leave it a month it would of hardened off by then, you can polish it but no wax yet.

polish wise i wouldnt go at it with anything aggressive yet, have a look over it first in different lights/angles etc and look for orange peel or any other defects and go from there.

As Dan has said above, don't wax or seal it for at least a month.

What products do you need recommending? Polish or wax?

I'd recommend Dodo Juice Lime Prime for polish, then wax depends on your budget?

cool thanks for the reply people.

If going towards £30, then how could I recommend anything else other than a Dodo wax

Purple Haze is my current favourite but you can go for any of them

have a look at the wolf polishes chris stocks
wax as chris rightfully recomended purple Haze is awesome also consider the pro for a few extra quid and well worth the extra too as its a hybrid wax with sealant propertys in it highly recomend it,
also consider supernatural either full pot or panel, very economical wax and is my current favourite.
if you decide to go for a seperate sealant then jetseal is a good one to go for.
