Hello everybody!
Like the title says - my OSR brake has been sticking on ever since the freeze set in. Any idea what it might be cos it's killing my brakes and power lol

I had same problem this morning, from what I've read water gets in the hand brake cables and rusts and freezes. Idealy replace cables and sheaths but I got some silicone spray on the rear calipers and down the cables inside the car under the handbrake and mines fine now
-
this most be a common problem when its frozen mine started yesterday i will disconnect the handbrake cable if thats the case
-
next time it happens look at the caliper under the car. if the cable is still tight its water in the cables, replace em. if its slack its the caliper itself seizing up, replace it
-
Cheers guys. I left the handbrake off last night and left it in gear - no sticking today. I think i'll just replace the cables if thats what it is - no point messing around with it as the handbrake isn't the sharpest anyway so I'm guessing it needs doing anyway
