Thought i would kick off a photo album to put everyone's GT5 pics in. Let's see how sideways you can get, more tyre smoke the better :laugh:

Few pics of the Mclaren, the damage model is definately improving, for the first time in GT you can roll the car onto it's roof :laugh:
When you're editing the photo if you change the frame rate to 8000 it's turn a blurred image into a shaper image, something i didn't realise in the pic with the muira.

As i understand it the more youplay the game the more effective the damage becomes. Let me see what i can do to the Mclaren.

Nice pics Alec, How many hp can you get out of the bus? Not tried the scenery back drops yet, I'll give it a go when I get the Lambo back.

that mk1 looks mint :cool:

That would annoy me. In all of your skidding shots Jeremy the black marks of the tyres start about a good foot in front of the tyre. Making the tyre marks appear long before the car has even made them.
Some of the others do look fantastic though.

Roughly 200 ponies, it tends to vary depending on how much you use the car though. That Audi had 924bhp, then 940bhp, 910 and now 950 lol
Can only use premium cars in photo travel by the way

Caistor when you take the images if you change the frame rate to 8000 and max the f stop (i think) the image sharpens up quite alot :wink:

Yer I know, but then I think you loose the sense of speed. I put it at 500 so its not mega blurr

how are you taking the action shots? during replays? :undecided:

Yes during a replay hit the start button and you'll see the photo mode red button. Just pasu at the right point hit the red button and take the shot. From there you can play around with the angles and exposures and take your pic.

I can appreciate the time and effort that's gone in to this, but that picture just sums up the game for me. Released and hyped far too early, and too much time spent on backgrounds and making things look pretty. Inside of the wheel on O/S is just a block. Forza dribbles all over this.
Oh and again with the skid marks before the car has even travelled that far on your pics Jeremy. If I had waited that long and spent that much money buying it I would be hard pushed not to be annoyed by these things.
Just an opinion like. Not PS3 bashing.

They didn't model the underneath of the Bugatti either :grin:
See what you mean though, the wheels on your pic look awful and ditto with the skid marks. Wonder if this is something they will improve.

I am a bit disappointed with the graphics glitches aswell, the shadows can look dreadful and like Slick pointed out about the underneath of the cars.
Apparently they are going to be releasing alot of updates and DLC in the next week or so

i said exactly the same, 90% of the games graphics are good and most engine noises are pretty good aswell. but they arent good enough to warrant such a delay in delopment and release date.

It's a shame you can't go as low in game as you can in real life...

Can give ridiculous amounts of negative camber and toe in/out. Only other options are things like ride height, compression, rebound, ARB etc.
GT5 is a bit crap when it comes to tuning unfortunately :cry:

Can't blame you
mk4 with race mod and only 305bhp is faster around the 'ring than SuperGT cars like ARTA NSX and Toms Supras :grin:, used it for the first couple of races in "Extreme" events. As if that would be the case in the real world though :laugh:
