Hi taking the Gti to the Alps for ski trip in the new year and dont want to damage my Monza 2's with the snow chains.
can you get any steel wheels like they used to fit to the early gti's for the mk5
which have the correct offset in brake clearance etc..
other than that i may have to buy some cheap monza 17" versions to do the job?

I would get any cheapo 17's that fit to be honest! i was thinking of doing that for winter tyres/wheels but unfortunately can't justify the outlay

A post i posted a while back in January

Or the option 17 winter alloys wheels. (notice they are not as wide as the monzas)
