Title: Change Gear Knob

I've finally bought my MK4, and have to do a few little jobs to her tomorrow, one of which is to change the tired looking gear knob and gaiter for a nice shiny new one (gen mk4)

How to I get the old one off?  :embarassed:

Pull it up from the 4 corners of the gaiter as there are little clips. I normally start at the back passenger  side and unclip them then pull it backward to release the front

then cut the metal clip off.. slide gearknob off.. replace and fit with jubilee clip for easier removal next time
