Title: 2.0 fuel economy

What sort of mpg do other 2.0 owners get.  on my daily commute i got 40+ out of my m2 but im only getting 32 ish out of this one, im driving fairly granddadish too.

not sure on exact amounts, but ive been told that 2.0s are particularly thirsty on petrol and engine oil on many occasions

I think the best i had out of mine when i had it was about 35mpg on a motorway run

25-28 around town, highest ive had on motorway was 38mpg

I stick £40 in every 4 days. between 24-28 sounds about right to me. I'm lucky to get 25 somedays tbh

They are Terrible even an evo gets 18 mpg with more than twice the power.  :laugh:

ha that fills me with so much confidence, my A4 2.4 V6 did 24 round town! and the mark 4 i have just bought has got a big dirty piper cross air filter  :cry:
