Stevie G's favourite artist is Phill Collins, and his first car was a 1.4 Golf.

I'm just curious as to where it is, these days,
I saw it at a show some years ago (GTI International) had a good look round it, but at that time, I was unaware of its history, until a few weeks later, when I recognized pics of the car when it appeared on Vortex, or ED38, colour was Monza, or something like it and was on RS's iirc... very nice car

He had it when the heater still worked. Even in weather like we're having now there was no jacket required.

But seriously, someone must know where his old car is, against all odds, someone knows of its whereabouts...

Whatever happened, Phil and the 60 are living separate lives.

Well, if you do get hold of him again 'dont loose his number', i can see you have a 'groovy kind of love' for this car. 'But seriously', you will just have to see it from 'both sides' and get on with your 'seperate lives'

'The Least You Can Do' is 'Hang in Long Enough' and perhaps wait just 'One More Night' (after all 'Why Can't It Wait 'Til Morning'), 'No Matter Who' has your car you may hear from them as 'Tomorrow Never Knows'

We Wait and We Wonder

I was tempted to join in when this thread began, but on investigation:
