yep, its a universal one.  just need to reuse the plug on the old sensor.

far better than paying £80 odd from vw.

you can buy them from local motor factors or ebay,

ive used the ebay ones before on my old Rs and they work a treat just without the dealer tax on them.

really easy to fit

here's the one ive just bought. ive not used this company before but the sensors themselfs are very basic so im sure it will do the job nicely

easy way to find out, remove the plastic cover under the car and there will be 2plugs in there,
black plug for the lamda at the front and red/orange colour plug for the one that fits in the cat.
have a look at the colour of the wires that come out the lamda plug.

if there is 2 white 1 black and i grey then it will work fine
you may even be able to make out the colour of the wires by looking down the rear of the engine where the lamda sits in the manifold

im pretty certain that both lamda's are exactly the same and 90% of the cars in england use zircona lamda's

They are £80 for that reason alone they are plug and play. And they will last a lot longer that ur sh!tty £15 one lol

i disagree, the one i put on my rs lasted the whole time i had the car,

i know a few people who use 'the cheap sh!tty ones' with no problems at all so if it mean paying £65 less without a plug then in my eyes its well worth it. not everything is worth buying from the dealers. granted some things are but not everything.

if i had endless amounts of cash and the car was newer and i was trying to retain most of the value maybe id spend alittle extra but its a 10 year old 2.0 8v. just a normal run around so whats the point in spending more if i dont have to.
