Title: cool trouble

Just put my Golf back on the road after 12 months.? Starts fine, but stalls as soon as I hit the gas.? Once its warm its fine.? I was thinking the fuel has gone off and the injectors are clogged.? Any ideas?

Modern petrol degrades/goes off v.quickly. If the tank has a lot in, worth draining and putting new in. This could (?) be your only problem unless alot of crap in the tank.

Is it MK1 Gti? If so, could be worth checking the cold start valve too

Ta,? I've hardly any fuel left, so I'll top it up with new stuff and add some injector cleaner.
