Title: Upgrading the Brakes
Post by: matski on 24 November 2010, 23:36
Hi guys, i really want to upgrade my brake setup, i'm not very mechanically minded so need a little bit of help... Should I upgrade both front and rear setups? What if i don't?

And what are my options? I know the S3/R32/Cupra brakes fit fine, but what else 'fits'? Heard of people putting RS4/6 brakes on, is this possible, what's involved? Porsche brakes?!!

I have 18" Monza's if that helps!

Thanks in advance

Oly

hey ill be looking at this also.....

from what iv read i think the r 32 / s3 rear brake setup provides a good result in extra brakeing effort and thats ample for the rear  and thats as far as it needs to go....

the front just depends on what your guna do with the car i.e track use or just fast road use... and this is where im no good as i dont know but im guna start with the r 32 rears as this should be good for now...

Have a look through this. I've not done it but I'm definitely considering it
