It would be worth trying an abrasive polish like Poorboy's Pro Polish 2 or Meguiar's Ultimate Compound. That should rejuvenate the paint, then make sure you protect it with a nice layer or two of wax.

id put 2 layers of sealant underneath the wax first as this will add extra uv protection which red needs, out of my gear id either go for fk1000p or jetseal 109.

as chris said make sure you seal it up after you have polished it as it will return back to what it is now very quickly if you dont. if left to long you will eventually loose all pigment in the paint.

what products have you got at the mo?

try polishing it, followed by wax.

depends on if you want to buy products and what you've got already really.

t-cut might do it, but its not so great really.

mer will do the job i guess, but its goes quite powery i found and is hard to buff off. and wax on top will stop it happening again so fast

better brands will give a better finish but cheap products give a better finish than no products if you see what i mean

if the mer does the job, why not use it? if it doesnt you do need some new products.

thats my 2p, probably wrong mind

the main thing with reds is getting them sealed and protected from the sun, wax will give protection obviously but very limited unfortunatly, sealants will give better protection and will last longer than a standard wax.
