my car has just started to make a horrrible screechin noise when turning the steering, normally when its cold or you chuck it into a courner so turnin the steerin fast
(hope that made sense )
so been told a fubared pas pump but the been told it will be the pas belt, now i recently did the the cam belt/ alt belt but didn't get the pas belt.
so has anyone had this and what was the outcome?
cheers

try adjusting the powersteering belt sounds like it is a little loose there is an adjuster
-
change the PAS belt at the same time.

Adjusting it does work.......
for a very short time!
So replace the belt! They are only 8 quid from ECP, just make sure you get the right size, its bigger for a car with aircon.
